The band SONOIR consists of active musicians Radoslav Lakoštík, Matej Borovský, and Martina Janegová, known from bands like Jób, DIS IS MARKĒTA, ČAD, or havrilla. Sonoir combines elements of post-rock, minimalism, repetitive structures, and expressive soundscapes. A fresh redefinition of familiar (non-)genre moods in a new, ambitious presentation.
The trio embraces improvisational dialogue, blending genres, alternative instrumentation, and experimental or dark humor. Originally formed as a duo, they expanded to a trio with the addition of pianist Martina Janegová.
The band has been recording new music throughout 2025. Their single "Art & Heavy" releases on July 17, 2026, paving the way for an upcoming full-length album.
